Don’t go there... the price is expensive and you cannot expect any pleasant service.I ordered a bottle of beer but it tasted wrong but the server insisted it was ok!?

The service is very slow, they forget orders. Food is average, around this restaurant you have many better ones for the same price. AVOID THE LEGEND CAFE!

Interesting cafe with very good ambience. We ordered summer rolls/Vietnamese rolls, Indonesian veggie sambal, and desert along with lychee mint cooler, and a virgin colada. The drinks very refreshing, the rolls were fresh, and desert was delicious. The sambal was not to my liking, may be missing a sauce or gravy that could have elevated the dish as it felt dry. Overall a very nice place to explore and try local Balinese food near the water palace and Saraswati temple.

Simply, Friendly, Family Run Balinese RestaurantThe Legend Cafe, located on the main Ubud town high street is a safe bet for a meal which taste ok and won't leave you penniless at the end of it. Don't expect a mind blowing taste experience - think more local cafe Balinese style - Cheap and Cheerful. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is chilled and warm. If you need somewhere safe, for light meal, and you're on a tight holiday budget this is your place.

Came for quick drinks and a quick bite the service was good and they had happy hour specials

A nice place to chill down while people-watching as it is located on the main road of Ubud Center. I had a late evening cocktail, enjoyed it very much. Price is quite reasonable considering its location. It was 40% full when we came in around 2100hrs. Make sure you sit further away from the road side since the traffic may be quite heavy during holiday times.

Don't expect to much. I guess this place survives on the location right on the busy main street. Looks cosy BUT once inside you find yourself in a typical tourist trap. Advertised Happy hour, buy 2 get one, but unless you ask for this offer they won't give it. Our Margaritas seemed to be Daiqauri consisting of red ice with alcohol. At the price charged we expected much more. The food we got was mediocre at best. You will do much better at restaurants just around the corner, better drinks, better food and for sure better prices.

DINNER: Very friendly and accommodating staff, we had our 7 month old son in a pram and they helped us up the few steps, sat us under a fan and got us a second fan for the table (it was one of the hottest days 😅). We ate the Gordon Blue and Mei Goreng and both were delicious for bali standards. Price was excellent 🙌

Be carefull with the Cocktails. Buy 2 get 1 free, means that every Person has to drink 3 Cocktails. Discount 30%. And the Cocktails are with very low level Alcohol.

Nice taste of food, polite service but we came at 8:30 and they didnt have more than half main dishes so we had really few choices to decide after 15 minutes of waiting to order.

Great atmosphere and the food was fine. The staff were slow and just "not bothered". Possibly what happens when exposed to so many tourists but still - some places manage to hire staff that continue to be warm and friendly despite this.Go for the location and the decor, not the service. The food is alright.

I can't understand why this restaurant doesn't have a very good star rating. The ambience is very nice with a choice of seating inside or outside. The food was very flavourful and a good selection for meat eaters and vegetarians. Portion size varies depending on what you order. However, it was more filling than it looked. Two starters, two mains, one large beer and one wine including tax and tip less than £20. I'd say that's good value. (Without alcohol would have halved the bill.) Would definitely return.

Really enjoyed the food here! We were in Ubud looking for food and most of the highly rated 5 star places has run out! So we ended up here and I really enjoyed my meal as did the wife. Please check them out!

Legend Cafe is a must visit while in Ubud. It serves very good authentic Balinese main appetizer, main course and deserts. They have all day happy hour - buy 2 get one free! The team is very friendly. If you don't like something they will try and change it without a word.

The food was okay. Nothing to complain about there. It wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t bad either. I’d eat there again .....However the male waiter interrupted us constantly during our meal to ask us over and over again and then came back again... to ask us to write a review. Here it is buddy!! 2 stars for being annoying.

Pretty place with good service. But food was disappointing and they used some funny chicken which made my sister a bit ill! Walk a little further and go somewhere nice.

don’t go there when you are hungry. had the pork ribs: 90g ribs. 40g mash potatoes service soso. wrong order. big prices plus service charge. Such a rip off!

It's beautiful and interesting. The food is delicious, although parking, as always in Ubud, can be difficult.

We arrived late to Ubud and could not find any place to eat except here. I dont know why the rates are not high. I think the food was good and the service was polite & fast.

You can have grilled vegi salad at IDR 40 (excluded 5% service fee and 10% tax). The dish wasn't bad, but you have to order another dish, if you want to stay longer.

We enjoyed the plant-based food options here - it’s a good place to grab a snack along with your drink (happy hour for beer available). We ordered the veggie skewers and fries. The skewers were marinated and came with tempeh, tofu, peppers, etc. It came with a delicious coconut and string bean side salad. Servers were nice and attentive, though there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant

Food quality was okay, nothing extraordinary. A bit on the pricy side, but what isn’t in Ubud.Staff was pretty unfriendly, almost plopping your dinner in front of you without looking at you, never cracking a single smile.

For some reason my Caipirinha looked and tasted like cola

The ambiance is nice; the bar facing the main avenue. However, the drinks were not properly mixed. The caipirinha was between too strong and just not good. We ordered Vietnamese roll and it was fresh, crispy and great.

Coffee is great. We got iced with coconut milk. Green drinks and juices were so fresh and delicious. We got the spinach, the green, and the pineapple. Curry dish was excellent. However, the other dishes were unpalatable as there was some type of spice that was hard for us to stomach.
